GOP candidate for governor unveils strict anti-harassment policy, names Diane Allen compliance officer - The Burlington County Times
TRENTON — Saying he doesn’t want New Jersey to endure “another black eye,” Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli unveiled a tough anti-discrimination, harassment and retaliation policy for his fledgling campaign.
And he named a women’s advocate and former legislator to head up his campaign’s compliance.
Diane Allen, the former television news anchor and Republican lawmaker who represented Burlington County’s 7th Legislative District for more than two decades, will serve as the campaign’s policy compliance officer.
“The people of New Jersey need not another black eye. They deserve a gubernatorial campaign and an administration that sets the highest standards for competence and professionalism,” Ciattarelli said Thursday during a Statehouse news conference in Trenton, where he announced his campaign’s policy and introduced Allen.
